Morande Pionero Pinot Noir

Fabulous, full of punchy fruit… sweet but with a slight tartness to keep it fresh! Thanks, Muss & Turner’s for the introduction :)
Next time: Get a case!

hey. Love your blog. I had a glass of the Morande last night at The Nook on 14th and Piedmont (just opened). Anyway, I googled it today because I LOOOVED it, and your blog post came up. Coincidentally, it looks like you live in Atlanta. I love Muss & Turner’s! Do you know where you can buy this by the bottle?
Thanks!
Hi Sallie,
Thanks for the comment, and I’m so glad you were able to try this wine! It’s not at M&T’s anymore, since the wine list changes often and I have yet to find a retail carrier for it. I’ll keep looking and will post back here if/when I find it here in Atlanta!
How was The Nook? I haven’t been yet.
Cheers,
Meg :)
Hey Sallie,
I called the distributor (Quality Wine & Spirits, who happens to be located about .25 miles from my office!) and they told me where I can find it. There are several Krogers in the Atlanta area – one in Marietta, I can’t remember the other one. Also the Shell station on Defoors off of Collier. They have an excellent wine selection! It was $10. You can call Ultimate to see where is closest to you – 404.367.9463. Cheers,
Meg
This is a gorgeous wine. My favorite wine retailer in the world (Rishi Makkar of International Beverage in Grand Rapids, Michigan) sold this to us about a week ago. We are calling him to get a case.
If you can find it, look for Diamond Oaks Pinot Noir, slightly more expensive these days than it was a year ago, but its a great wine.
Best,
Kevin
